Interested in volunteering at Brockton Blue Dog Shelter?  There are many opportunities to help the dogs waiting to be adopted.

AVAILABLE OPPORTUNITIES

Obedience training:  take a shelter dog to obedience classes - 6 week commitment
Walk/socialize dogs after completing our training
Picture taking of dogs and/or events
Helping at events
Brockton Blue Dog Shelter newsletter and other desktop publishing activities
Grant writing
Event planning
Fundraising

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

Consistent and reliable volunteers
Minimum of 3-6 month commitment of 2 hours per shift
Minimum age to volunteer is 16

HOW DO I APPLY?

Download a volunteer application and mail the completed application to the shelter.  A volunteer coordinator will contact you to schedule a meeting if your application meets our needs and openings are available.

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate all applicants.  We do not offer short-term community service requirements.
